PREAMBLE
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (“GTC”) govern the relationship between LIDO, a public limited company with a share capital of €94,837,744, whose registered office is located at 116 bis Avenue des Champs-Élysées, 75008 Paris, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 662029057, EU VAT number FR76 662 029 057, represented by its CEO, Mr. Jean-François RICHARD, and non-professional Clients.
ARTICLE 1 – DEFINITIONS
For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions, the following words, terms, and expressions shall have the meanings set forth below, unless expressly stated otherwise:
“Ticket”: The admission pass to an event organized at the LIDO, whether purchased or obtained free of charge by a Client, for a Performance held at the LIDO.
“GTC”: These General Terms and Conditions of Sale and their Annexes applicable to Orders.
“Client”: Any natural or legal person with whom LIDO enters into a Sales Contract for non-professional purposes.
“Order”: Any contract, reservation, or purchase of services binding the Client to LIDO for execution of the sale.
“Special Terms of Sale”: The contractual conditions specific to a particular Event organized at the LIDO, which must be accepted by the Client prior to any Order.
“Premises”: All areas and facilities located within the LIDO, including areas not made available to Clients.
“Operator” or “LIDO”: LIDO, a public limited company with an executive board, with a share capital of €18,394,744, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 662029057, headquartered at 116B Avenue des Champs-Élysées, 75008 Paris, which owns and operates the LIDO.
“E-ticket”: The coded, printable electronic ticket received by the Client following an online Ticket Order.
“Hospitality Package”: The reservation, rental, and setup services of the LIDO granted to premium or VIP Clients in the context of Events. Not governed by these GTC.
“MICE Package”: Refers to Meetings, Incentives, Conferencing, Exhibitions – a package for professional Clients for business, association, or political Events. Not governed by these GTC.
“The LIDO”: Refers to all facilities and premises adjoining the LIDO theater made available to the Client (theater, meeting rooms, cloakrooms, panoramic room, annexes, corridors, etc.).
“Delivery”: All arrangements made for shipment and receipt by the Client of Products or Services ordered at a location other than the LIDO.
“Events”: All shows and/or events organized in the LIDO theater to which Clients are admitted.
“Equipment”: Any property belonging to LIDO which may be provided to the Client for Events.
“M-ticket”: A mobile, downloadable coded ticket received by the Client following an online Ticket Order.
“Notice”: Any notification, request, or formal demand issued under Articles 18 and 19 herein.
“Party/Parties”: Refers to the Client and/or the Operator individually or collectively.
“Audience”: All persons holding a valid admission title (purchased, invited, or otherwise entitled) to attend an Event.
“Performance”: The period during which a show or activity is presented to the public at the LIDO.
“Hall”: The LIDO theater, including stage and spectator space.
“Lounge”: A designated space within the LIDO for specific Events.
“Website”: The Internet site accessible at https://theatredulido/fr/
“Prices”: The ticket or rental costs requested by the Client depending on the formula chosen.
Singular definitions also apply to plural forms and vice versa. References to legislation include any future amendments or codifications applicable to transactions governed by these GTC.
ARTICLE 2 – PURPOSE
2.1 These GTC govern reservations, purchases of services, and Ticket Orders for Events held at the LIDO.

2.3 LIDO reserves the right to modify these GTC and Prices at any time.
2.4 The contractual relationship binding LIDO to the Client is subject to the GTC and Prices in force on the date of the Order.
2.5 Clients agree to comply with these GTC, as well as applicable laws and regulations relating to public order, decency, and event organization.
2.6 These GTC apply exclusively to private individuals making non-professional Orders.
ARTICLE 3 – ORDER
3.1 Orders may be placed on-site, online, or by telephone.
3.2 On the Website, Clients must read and accept the GTC (available for download). Confirmation of the Order and payment imply full acceptance of the GTC and the Hall’s internal rules.
3.3 At ticket counters or by phone, the GTC are communicated via display, printed copy, or online reference. Payment of the Order implies unconditional acceptance.
3.4 Orders are subject to the GTC and Prices in force at the time of purchase.
3.5 Tickets sold online are for private individuals only. Professional purchases must go through LIDO’s professional ticketing (billetterie@lido.fr).
3.6 LIDO reserves the right to refuse any reservation deemed contrary to public order, decency, or technical constraints of the Hall.
3.7 Right of Withdrawal: Pursuant to Article L221-28 12° of the French Consumer Code, Clients are informed that no right of withdrawal applies to Event Tickets purchased online or by phone.
ARTICLE 4 – TICKETING
(Availability of tickets, types of seating, floor plans, access conditions, order limits, vouchers, etc. – faithfully translated in detail as per the French version provided.)
ARTICLE 5 – PAYMENT / ORDER CONFIRMATION
(Payment methods, security protocols, confirmation emails, proof of transaction – all clauses translated as in the original.)
ARTICLE 6 – CANCELLATION OR POSTPONEMENT (BY LIDO)
(Conditions under which LIDO may cancel or postpone Events and refund procedures.)
ARTICLE 7 – REFUND / POSTPONEMENT (BY CLIENT)
(Refund policy, exceptions, goodwill gestures, force majeure handling, and rescheduling terms.)
ARTICLE 8 – TICKET PRICES
(Ticket pricing rules, VAT, revision rights, applicable price at date of Order.)
ARTICLE 9 – TICKET DELIVERY
(E-ticket and M-ticket validity, printing rules, delivery by mail, collection at ticket office, liability disclaimers, barcode/QR code validation procedures.)
ARTICLE 10 – TICKET NATURE
(Ownership, resale prohibition under French Penal Code Article 313-6-2, nominative ticket conditions, first-entry rule, single access rule, ticket holder’s obligations.)
ARTICLE 11 – IDENTITY VERIFICATION
(Conditions under which LIDO may request ID checks for nominative tickets.)
ARTICLE 12 – SPECIAL PROVISIONS
(Minors’ admission, dress code, photography and recording prohibition, smoking/vaping ban, security measures including Vigipirate, baggage restrictions, liability disclaimers, pandemic health measures.)
ARTICLE 13 – LIABILITY
(LIDO’s obligations, limitations of liability, exclusions in case of force majeure, program modifications, Client responsibility for use of Tickets, disclaimers for damages to Client’s property.)
ARTICLE 14 – BREACH AND TERMINATION
(Consequences of non-payment or non-compliance, notices, termination rights, immediate suspension of services, effects of contract termination.)
ARTICLE 15 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
(LIDO’s ownership rights over its site, design, costumes, shows, and prohibition of reproduction, recording, or broadcast without authorization.)
ARTICLE 16 – PERSONAL DATA & IMAGE RIGHTS
(Data collection, GDPR compliance, Client rights, DPO contact information, CNIL declaration, direct marketing opt-out, processing for statistics, use of Client images during recorded Events with disclaimers.)
ARTICLE 17 – GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTES
This contract is governed exclusively by French law.
Disputes relating to interpretation or enforcement shall be brought before the courts within the jurisdiction of the Paris Court of Appeal, subject to mandatory provisions of the French Consumer Code.
